The Youth Café - The Place To Hangout

The Going's on in the Youth Café

The Youth Café is not just a space where young people can call their own and come and meet their friends, it is a place where they can partake in programmes, look for advice and support. Most importantly, it's a space where each individual can feel safe in themselves.

To date the Youth Café has offered a wide range of programmes such as 'Hair & Beauty', 'Driver Theory Test', a number of music programmes with the latest in conjunction with Music Generation, Youth Club, Drama Programmes, and of course, we established Edenderry's first community radio station YAG FM.

The Youth Café, along with Edenderry Youth Action Group, has also ran themed days such as Princess and Super Hero Day, easter egg hunt, baking days, Santa grottos and summer camps. See the gallery below for photos of the excellent programmes and days run in the past.

Although the Youth Café received funding to establish itself, the Youth Café now receives no funding, and remains open as it creates its own income through fundraising and the café itself.

The Youth Café does a number of fundraisers each year, and we would like to thank the community for their continued support in these.
